Our story

Algarve Location comes from the team behind Homing and the Portuguese-language portal Maré Algarve, founded by Anderson Melo. Years of hosting travellers in real Algarve homes taught us what people actually ask before they come — and how much of the web answers them with fabricated reviews and hidden fees. Algarve Location is our answer to that: the honest version, for the Algarve’s international visitors.

Built for the Algarve’s visitors

The region’s guests come mostly from the UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Spain and Portugal, so the portal is being built for each of those markets in their own language — not machine-flipped, but written for what each traveller actually searches.
